CASETRUST-SSTA ACCREDITATION SCHEME FOR BUS SERVICE PROVIDERS

 

The CaseTrust-SSTA Joint Accreditation Scheme for Bus Service Providers was developed in collaboration with the Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) and the Singapore School Transport Association (SSTA) for the school bus service industry. 

As part of the accreditation process, Bus Service Providers are subjected to a rigorous assessment process and stringent set of criteria that are designed to lay the foundation for fair business practices. 

 

Upon fulfilling the fulfilling the full set of requirements, bus service providers would be awarded with the symbol of credibility that is associated with the CaseTrust Mark - the seal of fair consumer practices. This recognition of meeting the standards set out by CaseTrust signifies the business' promise to elevate service quality and commitment to fair trading practices.

CONSUMER'S FRIENDLY PRACTICE FROM A CASETRUST ACCREDITED BUS SERVICE PROVIDER

 
 
 

5 WORKING DAYS COOLING-OFF PERIOD

 

Consumers can seek a full refund of their prepayment made to the Bus Service Provider, during the cooling off period within 5 working days from the date of signing the agreement. 

 
 

PREPAYMENT PROTECTION

 

In the unfortunate event of a business closure, consumers would be entitled to an insurance pay-out for the unutilised portion of the prepayment made to the Bus Service Provider. 

 
 

CLEAR FEE POLICIES

 

Bus Service Providers have clearly articulated and documented policies on service charges, refund and termination. These details are fully disclosed for consumers to make an informed decision. 

 
 

PROPER DISPUTE RESOLUTION MECHANISM

 

Consumers could seek recourse for their disputes amicably via structured dispute resolution procedures adopted by Bus Service Providers. 

 
 

CASETRUST-SSTA APPROVED STANDARD CONTRACT

 

A standard contract that is endorsed by CaseTrust and SSTA, encompassing consumer friendly terms and conditions would be implemented by Bus Service Providers for all school bus services. 

 
 
 

WELL TRAINED PERSONNEL

 

All staff members of the Bus Service Providers are required to undergo atleast 40 hours of training over a continuous two (2) year period.
