ASAS Seminar 2010: Responsible Advertising for the Beauty & Wellness Industry
The Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore (ASAS) is organising the above seminar for stakeholders of the Beauty & Wellness Industry. Key management personnel and staff of beauty and wellness establishments will find this seminar pertinent.
It will present guidelines on acceptable advertising standards for the beauty and wellness industry, based on the Singapore Code of Advertising Practice. Another highlight of the seminar will be the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and how it can help guide the formulation of consumer-friendly advertisements. Advertising regulation of health products and services will also be discussed during the event.

As a consumer, when you walk into a CaseTrust shop, you can shop to your heart’s content, assured that what you see is what you get. Even if there are problems later, you can resolve it with confidence because when something unfortunate happens, the company is committed to resolving the dispute in a timely and fair manner.
In the event that the dispute is unresolved, consumers can always approach CASE for help. Our Consumer Relations Officers will be able to advise them of their rights and assist them to resolve the matter with the company concerned.
If necessary, our company can further arrange for a mediation session between the consumer and the company. The session will be conducted by trained mediators who will assist both parties in arriving at a win-win situation. Sounds good?
